Timing for your nights and mornings

When sleep breaks at 3:07, your night already has a plan.

A timing plan for your nights and mornings. Eight quick questions, tonight's plan free, no password.

Free to start. Night is always free.

Three moments a day

  1. 10:00PM

    Tonight, planned.

The last hour before bed, in three twenty-minute steps, then a 40-minute bed window. If you drink, a last-drink time too. Nothing to decide at the end of the day.

Today screen at night: wind-down, in bed and up times
  2. 3:07AM

    Awake? Breathe.

A dark screen, no clock, a two-minute breath. Or count back from 300 by threes. Still awake? It tells you when to get up, and when to come back. Always free.

Night screen: dark, no clock, a single Start button
  3. 7:00AM

Three taps, then the plan adjusts.

Fifteen breaths, water, fifteen minutes of light, then coffee. Three taps on how it went. Rough night? The times hold, and a coffee nap appears in your afternoon window.

Morning check-in: wake time stepper and two quick questions

Night

Many people's sleep breaks in the small hours. When you wake, Night opens dark, with no clock and a two-minute breath.

In the morning, three taps tell the plan how it went.

Try it. Ten seconds.

Two answers, three times. The same engine that builds your seven-day plan, running in your browser.

Plain rules, not a black box

  • 8h

Last coffee 8 hours before your bed window opens.

  • 60 min

Wind-down starts 60 minutes before the middle of your bed window.

  • 30 min

Your wake time moves at most 30 minutes a day, then stays.

  • 14h

Your night starts about 14 hours after you wake, sleepiness about 90 minutes later. Sleep in on Saturday and Saturday night moves by the same amount: that is weekend drift.

Suggestions, not prescriptions. Adjust anything in Settings.

Questions

Is this a sleep tracker?

No. When does not record audio, detect sleep stages or read a wearable. You answer eight questions once, then three taps each morning. The plan is built from timing rules you can read on this page.

Do I need an account?

Not to see your result. Tonight's plan shows without an email or password. If you subscribe, your email is how you sign in on another device, with a six-digit code, never a password.

What does it cost, and how do I cancel?

Annual is $59.99 a year with a 7-day free trial. Monthly is $9.99 a month, billed today. Free: tonight's plan, Night and the two-minute reset. The plan: the whole week, the adjustments, runway, best times, last drink and travel mode. Cancel anytime: on the web from your plan page, on iPhone in Settings, Subscriptions, on Android in Google Play. Access continues until the period ends.

Does it work on Android?

Yes. The same plan and the same Night screen on iPhone and Android, and your plan follows you between the web and the app with the six-digit app code.

Is Night mode free?

Yes, always. The Night screen and its sessions (the two-minute reset, body relaxation, count-back and deep rest) work without a subscription and offline. The subscription is for the seven-day plan, reminders and the morning check-in that adapts it.

Do I have to go to bed early after a bad night?

No. Keep the wake time and the plan holds tonight's times where they were. Going to bed early after a rough night usually means lying awake; the plan offers a coffee nap in your afternoon window instead, and the check-in tells it what happened.

Can I nap?

Yes, inside your nap window and for 25 minutes at most. On a rough day the plan suggests a coffee nap: a coffee, then a 25-minute nap right away, before your last coffee of the day.

Does When tell me my chronotype?

No animal labels and no genetics. Your best times for focus, movement, a hard conversation and a nap are derived from your wake time with rules you can read on this page, and they move when your wake time moves.

What about melatonin or magnesium?

When does not recommend supplements or doses, and never will inside the plan. If you are considering one, ask a clinician; supplements can interact with each other and with medication.

Is this medical advice?

No. When provides general wellness and educational timing guidance. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If sleep problems are persistent, severe or affect your safety, talk to a qualified healthcare professional.
